The ninth annual Anthony Hecht Poetry Prize is now open for submissions. The deadline is December 1st. The prize is given annually for a poetry collection by an author who has published no more than one previous collection, and rewards the winner with a purse of $3,000, publication on both sides of the Atlantic, and a reading with the judge at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington D.C.
